Abigail just came back from yet another overnight in Bill's hospital room and reports that today he talked and asked questions about his condition. Look at her report for today beneath Kathy's post. I just now talked to his sister, Betsy Ryland, who arrived from Georgia last night. She's in his room now and told me they talked and he's chewing on a few ice cubes. Last night, when she arrived at the hospital (straight from the airport) he was "out of it", but not today.
We expect (hope) he'll be even more alert tomorrow after the "kidney flush".
