Abigail - i arrived here at 3pm he was watching TV.  he has been wide awake and asked for ice and water. i brought in sugar dairy free ice cream and  fruit Popsicles and he had a tiny bit of each. he said  ' it smells like ice cream ' after i said it was sugar and dairy free! he could only handle a tad so i have put it away. i am going to search for even milder sugar free pops when i have time.
the nurse said i should bring a video camera to show everyone else how responsive and awake he is.
my mom found every individually wrapped candy at trader Joe's and made colorful gift boxes full of treats. i brought in some one box today for the nurses and they took it to the break room. i caught one of the nurses unwrapping a candy under the table! i am glad they are enjoying it. i'll bring in one every few days. bribes.
we did some leg stretches and it did not hurt him today. i asked if he wanted to do some stretching exercise and he shook his head yes a few times.
dad's sister Besty should be in soon. i'm staying the night again.

  1. Hello everyone I'm so happy to hear the good news. It has been a difficult time for me being so far away from home and not able to fly back at this time. I want to say thanks to my sister, friends and family for all the support for my Father. Love, Josh email jhirambanks@gmail .com
