Doctors very pleased that the EEG happened, we might get results today.  if they cant get to it today we have to wait until early next week, and we have to wait longer to have his kidney's flushed. will update as soon as i know. once they interpret the results they will decide when to do a kidney flush.

Respiratory specialist cleared mucus that accumulated at 11am. not sure he got into the real tough stuff. that might just come out in time. Dad needs to be reminded to cough. his lack of swallow might be why there is so much 'debris' in his throat. hope he regains his swallow. if he does not they will have to make an incision and place a G or J tube for food/water/meds somewhere on his side, or stomach. that increases infection risks and i'm sure it is not very comfortable. it does not have to be permanent, it can be stitched up when he regains the swallow. if the G or J tube has to happen perhaps he can see a recovery therapist to straighten his swallow. Right now its me trying to help 'train' or he's on his own.
